I am here on vacation. What the hell is with all of the cops? I have never seen more cops in one place in all of my life! I am a law abiding citizen, but it gives me the heebie jeebies. Is Cape Coral some kind of police utopia?

Great site. I went to CCHS before it looked like a prison. (the fence blows) I had to move away for a good job. Hopefully, I'll be able to return/reside there someday. (of course, that's only if the well's don't keep drying up because the gulf courses keeping their grass green and their clubhouse pools full)

Have to recommend going through the J.N. "Ding" Darling Widlife Refuge! We spent a long time there and saw wildlife in many areas of the refuge.

My husband and I recently relocated (after retirement) from Saint Louis, Missouri to Cape Coral. We did lots of research and visited SW Florida before our move. We are currently in the process of building a home on a fresh water canal. So far we have not found any downside to being here other than it takes 9 months or so to get a house built. We are looking forward to making this our new home. Have spent much time exploring all the wonderful beaches and attractions in this area!

I resently bought property at 1754 Cape Coral Pkwy.Now hear that the City might redo area.I have seen the picture in the paper.What is planned will destroy the small city look and will leave it a tourist trap like Naples.Is there any way to stop the destruction of Cape Coral?
I think Cape Coral Parkway Looks way better than it used to.
