#1 Turner Beach, Captive

Sanibel Captiva Road to Blind Pass. It's just over the bridge to Captiva, on the left. Parking is available for a fee, outstanding shelling.

#2 Bowmans Beach, Sanibel

Right on Periwinkle Way to Tarpon Bay Road. Turn right, head north to Sanibel Captiva Road. From this road, turn left to Bowman Beach Road. A popular spot with great shelling. Picnic Tables, bathrooms, bike racks.

 

 

#3 Tarpon Bay Road Beach, Sanibel

Right on Periwinkle Way, Left on TarponBay Road. Plenty of Parking, bathrooms. Good shelling.

 

 

#4 Algiers Beach, Sanibel See slide show

Right on Periwinkle Way, left on to Casa Ybel Road to West Gulf Road. Turn left on Algiers Lane. Great place to picnic, Boardwalks to the Beach. Bathrooms, Paid parking.

 

 

#5 Lighthouse Park Beach, Sanibel

Left on Periwinkle Way and go all the way to the end. Look for beach signs. Good Shelling, narrow beach, paid parking area, view of the Gulf, bathrooms, wheelchair accessible nature trail, small fishing pier

#6 Sanibel Causeway Beaches, Sanibel See slide show

Either side of the causeway. Fishing's good, bathrooms, free parking, good area to see dolphins.

 

#7 Bunche Beach, Between Sanibel & Fort Myers Beach See slide show

Take Summerlin Road toward Sanibel, turn left on John Morris Road at the Circle K and follow to the end. No bathrooms, free parking.

 

 

#8 Bowditch Point Regional Park, Fort Myers

Take Matanzas Pass Bridge (virtual tour) onto the Beach. Turn right at foot of Bridge, follow Estero Blvd. to the end. Wide Beach, 17 acre park, bathrooms, showers, changing rooms, picnic tables, grills, hiking paths, handicap accessible boardwalk, free admission. Par in Times Square and walk or take a trolley for 25 cents from Main Street Park and ride lot.

 

 

#9 Lynn Hall Memorial Park, Fort Myers Beach

Turn right at foot of Matanzas Pass Bridge. Left off North Estero Blvd., 24 hour big parking lot, playground, fishing pier, picnic huts, shops and restaurants, bathrooms.

 

 

#10 Bonita Beach Park - Barefoot Beach

Bonita Beach follow Estero Blvd. southeast. Its on the right before Collier County. Barefoot Beach Take US 41 south to Bonita Beach Road. West to Lely Barefoot Beach guardhouse.

Bonita Beach Park - Picnic, volleyball, bathhouses, fishing, parking available for a fee.

Barefoot Beach - 356 acre of beach, parking available for a fee, restaurant/bar, bathrooms.

 

 

#11 Delnor Wiggins Pass State Park Rec. Area, Naples

Us 41 South. Head West on 111th Ave. After the bridge , it becomes Bluebill Ave... Beach is at the end. $6.00 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle.

$4.00 Single Occupant Vehicle.

$2.00 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.

166 acre beach , parking close to beach, picnic tables, bathrooms, fishing, Open 8am - Sundown.

 

 

#12 Beach Access Points Along Gulf Shore Blvd., Naples

US 41 south, west on Park Shore Drive, turn on to Gulf Shore. Four to Six metered parking spots at end of streets. Parking is limited, No bathrooms

 

 

#13 Marco Island Beaches - Tigertail & South Marco Beach

Tigertail - US 41 south to SR 951. Head to Marco Island. Follow 951 into town , follow the signs and turn right on to Tigertail Court, then a left on Hernando Drive. The beach is at the end. Great beach, $3.00 parking, bathrooms, snack bar, playground, volleyball.

South Marco Beach - Parking is across the street from the luxury condos in a lot behind the one for residents, no bathrooms or amenities.
