The Shell Factory

With the world's largest collection of rare sea shells, sponges, coral, fossils and sea life specimens, you can have a wonderful time among the beauty and wonders of the deep blue sea. You can almost hear the waves breaking on the ocean shore . . . smell the clean salt air!


But there's so much more to see! You might come to the Shell Factory to see shells, but you can also view wildlife exhibits, aquariums and alligators. You can play arcade games, miniature golf or bump into friends at our Bumper Boat lagoon.

Enjoy dining at Scallywags Steak House, Capt'n Fishbones Seafood Grill, or our Groovy Stop Snack Bar and Food Court, or just stop in for dessert. Our Fudge Kitchen makes the great traditional flavors as well as "Elvis's favorite peanut butter and banana" to pina colada.

With over 18 acres of shopping and displays, you will always find something to entertain and educate every member of the family. From resort clothing to gifts and imports, glass blowing to costumes, Christmas and holiday items to gourmet foods, you can find it at the Shell Factory!

The Shell Factory is located between the two Highway 41's in North Fort Myers.
Take I-75 to exit 26, west 5 miles to Business 41, turn right. Travel 1 mile, we're on the left.
